A set is a group of books (or items, like a tote bag) that are sold individually and also together.
We dropship/fulfill sets/bundles.
- The publisher sends us inventory to create the set or the inventory is already in our warehouse.
- The publisher lets us know:
- The title and ISBN of each book to be part of the set
- The title of the bundle (ie, Medieval Poetry Collection)
- A SKU for the set (publisher makes this up, should be no more than 13 characters/numbers)
- The retail price of the bundle
- We'll create the set's listing in our inventory management system and the publisher will be able to see the set in Stacks (along with the items in the set and the inventory of each item in the set).
- Sets are charged the normal pick, pack, and postage costs. For example, if a set contains four books, the cost would be $2.75 (book 1) plus $0.65 (book 2) plus $0.65 (book 3) plus $0.65 (book 4) plus postage.
Examples of a set
- A book and a tote bag
- Four different books by the same author
- A series of almanacs
- Two items that are sold at a discount when purchased at the same time
